Probably Not A Good Idea

I dug the reviews. I have been contemplating what books I should find about screenwriting and I may end up taking your advice.

Yeah, definitely go with How Not To Write A Screenplay. It has pretty much stood the test of time over all the other books that I've been assigned in film school. I really wished my professors had been better about picking books for our screenwriting classes, instead of ordering shit heaps like the one I presented in the video.

In the intro to HNTWAS, the author pretty much tells you where he's coming from, that he's not a doctor, nor has he written anything wildly successful; but rather, he's had to read a shit ton of feature length screenplays and has found people make the same mistakes.
